JIS Z 3334:2017 specifies rods, solid wires and strip electrodes of nickel and nickel-alloy (hereafter generically referred to as filler metals) used for TIG welding, MIG welding, submerged arc welding, overlay welding with strip electrode, and plasma arc welding.
