This standard covers properties of various types of heat stabilized, impact modified, ultraviolet (UV) stabilized polyamide 66 (nylon 66), which are used in injected form for molded components.

The material abbreviation according to ISO 11469 is PA66-I.

Applicability.

Typical applications include: interior components.

Remarks.

The specification is classified by level of impact modifiers and UV resistance:

• T1: High impact modified for components below the glass line.

• T2: Very high impact modified for components below the glass line.

• T3: High impact modified, high UV resistance for components at or above the glass line.
