SCOPE

This standard applies to two types (self-levelling andnonsag) and two classes (glazing and nonglazing uses)of multi-component joint sealing compounds that,with proper mixing of the components, cure to arubber-like solid and are suitable for sealing orcaulking applications in buildings, on substrates ofmetal, concrete, masonry, glass (Class 1 only), orwood.

The compounds may be used for interior and exteriorjoints that may have movements to plus or minus 25%and for joints that may be continuously immersedin water.
