This standard applies to bus, train, air and ship transportation facilities.

This standard addresses some of the needs of people with disabilities.

This standard does not cover all possible signage requirements. Information on audible signs may be found in Appendix A.

The testing and evaluation of a product against this standard may require the use of materials and/or equipment that could be hazardous.
