Business and Management: Protecting Your Design

When its time to turn over your carefully planned design to contractors and suppliers, its rather like sending your child to foster care. You worry it wont be treated properly, a victim of Sloth (too lazy to do it right), Ignorance (they dont know what they dont know), and Greed. How can owners, engineers and contractors protect themselves from the three horsemen of substandard results? It is not easy.
