OA Economizers for Data Centers

A typical size data center can require $100,000 just to keep the chiller running at full load throughout one year. This article shows how more money can be saved by reducing the chiller runtime than by selecting a more efficient chiller. The article covers how airside economizers can reduce chiller operating time, while maintaining humidity control through quality sensors, direct digital control (DDC) system and thorough commissioning.
