Seeing the Light with BACnet

BACnet serves as the primary means of communication between any type of automation device in a building. Original BACnet standard objects have been used successfully for lighting applications since 1995. This article explains developments in extending the BACnet standard regarding building lighting and new products that will use new BACnet lighting features.
