The Sobeys refrigerated distribution center in Trois-Rivires, QC, Canada features $1 million worth of improvements with a simple payback of $144,896 annually. Innovations designed into the new building include an ammonia central chiller with a secondary glycol fluid system for safety, as well as natural lighting and heat recovery on the condenser side of the chiller for space heating.
