Using Building Mass to Heat and Cool: Thermo Active Building Systems (TABS)
Thermo active building systems (TABS) are embedded water-based surface heating and cooling systems, where the pipe is embedded in the central concrete core of a multi-story buildings construction. This article describes how TABS work, how to avoid condensation issues, and best strategies for installing them.
