Filtration and Building Security

Since 9/11, homeland security experts, including the U.S. military and the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health have promoted high-efficiency filtration, including chemicalair cleaning, as a silver bullet. The central idea is to use the building HVAC system as the ultimate defense barrier to protect building occupants from airborne environmental hazards.
