Is Economizer Cycle Justified for AC Applications

R-410A is becoming increasingly popular in commercial air-conditioningapplications. Although several design enhancementoptions are feasible, R-410A still exhibits a performance deficiencyat certain environmental conditions in comparison to R-22 that isbeing phased out. These issues present new challenges to systemdesigners and must be addressed in the most comprehensive andcost-effective manner.
