Emerging Technologies: Wireless Systems For Building Controls

Recently, a variety of wireless-enabled sensor products, most notably wireless temperature sensors, have come to market, both within and outside the HVAC industry. In commercial buildings, wireless systems offer the potential to reduce the installed cost of communicating sensed data by supplanting wired infrastructure with digital radio-based communications.
