Underfloor air distribution (UFAD) helps schools deal with changing information technology infrastructure and moving data and power outlets to accommodate different teaching curriculums. The Blue Valley School District in Kansas has standardized its HVAC systems around UFAD and displacement ventilation and was the first winner of the EPAs IAQ Tools for Schools National Model of Sustained Excellence Award.
