Using Refrigerants Responsibly

United States manufacturers of HVACR equipment have played a leadership role in making sure refrigerants are used and handled responsibly. For instance, in 1994, the Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI), the trade association of North American HVACR equipment manufacturers, published the Industry Recycling Guide, a guide to recovering, recycling, and reclaiming refrigerants.
