Systems Effect: To Believe It Is to See It

System losses due to system effect are the result of velocity losses due to poor fan connections and duct designs that promote velocity/counter velocity (V/CV) and the turbulence that results. This article will help the reader visualize what cannot be seen or measured, and will provide a good representation of what is really occurring in fan/duct systems.
