Description / Abstract:
Purpose. The purpose of this test procedure is to determine the torsional stiffness of the seat back.
Applicability. This test shall be applied to all General Motors' vehicles with free-standing seat systems having folding bucket split bench seat backs, including those with outboard upper body supports.
