Description / Abstract: 1.Scope

The purpose of this specification is to aid the GM design community in designing more recyclable/recoverable vehicles that have maximum end of life value. The tools included will help the design engineer analyze parts, assemblies, and overall vehicles for recyclability / recoverability.

This design guide is written for current technology. As technology progresses the design guide will be updated.
