June 2001: Building Automation for Multisite Facilities

Consolidation, acquisition, growth and deregulation are hallmarks of todays business climate. These forces place a new twist on managing facility operating expenses. Pressure for energy efficiency is familiar to HVAC system designers. However, designers are dealing with new facility management issues, namely system operation issues, for a collection of buildings or an enterprise.
