IAQ in Nursing Homes

Notes that many significant ASHRAE papers devoted to hospital ventilation have been published, while literature regarding ventilation in nursing homes is rare. Points out that nursing facilities are distinctly different from hospitals. Provides some insight and guidance towards the design for such facilities. Considers ventilation, filtration, humidity control, temperature, source control and research. Concludes with some design recommendations.
