Redundancy for Data Centers

Mission-critical data centers require continuous operation under strict environmental conditions at all times. Since data centers generate heat and can fail with excessive humidity, temperature and air moisture must be controlled. This article explains how to build system redundancy into air systems, and how operating redundant units can increase lifecycles and reduce wear on the system and components.
