Data centers can require 50 times more power than comparably sized office space, with about half of that power needed to cool and dehumidify the hardware. Economizers and central station air-handling units can provide a sustainable solution along with redundancy for filtration and cooling. This article describes the wet-bulb economizer, including how it addresses humidity control and outdoor air pollution.
