Washington Report: Buildings and the Budget

Congress is setting the nations annual budget, and gearing up to determine how much taxpayer dollars federal programs will receive in the coming fiscal year. In the meantime, the president has requested an increase in funding for the DOEs Building Technologies Program, which is significant given a proposed five-year freeze on domestic non-security spending. All of which provides a backdrop to the coming election campaigns.
